The BNPA is the principal academic and professional body for medical practicioners and professionals allied to medicine working at the interface of the clinical and cognitive neurosciences, and psychiatry.
British Neuropsychological Society (BNS)
The aims of the BNS are "the furtherance of scientific enquiry within the field of Neuropsychology and cognate subjects, by holding periodical meetings at which papers may be read and discussions held, to enhance communication among those scientific disciplines which can contribute to the understanding of brain-behaviour relationships and neuropsychological disorders in particular..."
British Psychological Society Division of Neuropsychology
The BPS Division of Neuropsychology provides a forum for psychologists engaged in the assessment and management of brain damaged patients and those who teach and undertake research in the field of Clinical Neuropsychology. Holds annual conferences.
British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine (BSRM)
The BSRM is a learned society representing doctors who practice in Rehabilitation Medicine. This site includes conference listings and information on rehabilitation after brain injury.
Headway - The Brain Injury Association
A UK charity which aims to promote understanding of all aspects of head injury and to provide information, support and services to people who have suffered a head injury, their family and carers.
Stroke Association
The Stroke Association is a national charity which is solely concerned with stroke. It provides support for people who have had strokes, their families and carers, and campaigns, educates and informs to increase knowledge of stroke at all levels of society.

American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN)
The AACN is the organization for those psychologists who have achieved board certification in the specialty of Clinical Neuropsychology, under the auspices of the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN). The official journal of the AACN is The Clinical Neuropsychologist, which is published by Psychology Press.
American Psychological Association Division 22: Rehabilitation Psychology
The Division of Rehabilitation Psychology is an organization of psychologists concerned with the psychological and social consequences of disability, and with ways to prevent and resolve problems associated with disability.
American Psychological Association Division 40: Clinical Neuropsychology
Division 40 of the American Psychological Association, the Division of Clinical Neuropsychology, is a scientific and professional forum for psychologists interested in the study of brain-behavior relationships, and the clinical application of that knowledge to human problems.
American Psychological Society (APS)
The American Psychological Society was founded in 1988 by a group of scientifically oriented psychologists interested in advancing scientific psychology and its representation as a science at the national level.
Brain Injury Association of America
This Association of was founded in 1980 by a group of individuals who wanted to improve the quality of life for their family members who had sustained brain injuries.
Massachusetts Neuropsychological Society
The Massachusetts Neuropsychological Society was created to promote research of brain-behavior relationships; to enhance communications among those scientific disciplines that can contribute to the understanding of brain-behavior relationships and neuropsychological disorders; and to enhance education into neuropsychological disorders.
National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN)
The National Academy of Neuropsychology is a professional society that includes clinicians, scientist-practitioners, and researchers interested in neuropsychology.
Psychonomic Society
The Psychonomic Society promotes the communication of scientific research in psychology and allied sciences. Its members are qualified to conduct and supervise scientific research, must hold the PhD degree or equivalent, and must have published significant research other than the doctoral dissertation.

ASSBI provides a forum for multidisciplinary research and clinical practice for Australian professionals working in Brain impairment. Organizes annual Conferences held in a variety of locations in Australia.
Austrian Society for Neuropsychology
The Austrian Society for Neuropsychology (Gesellschaft für NeuroPsychologie Österreich (GNPÖ)) aim for the promotion of neuropsychology as an interdisciplinary science in experimental, applied and clinical fields of activity. In addition the GNPÖ holds regular conferences, advanced training and regional meetings.
European Brain Injury Society (EBIS)
EBIS is an association attempting the co-ordination of activities to solve the many problems caused by head injury, an as yet insufficiently recognised disaster in society. It brings together the many professionals involved in the field, and the associations of people with head injury and their families.
German Society for Neuropsychology (GNP)
The Society for Neuropsychology (Gesellschaft für Neuropsychologie) is a scientific organization of German-speaking neuropsychologists working in research, in clinical areas, in the pharmaceutical industry and in forensics. The GNP holds annual scientific meetings.
Hispanic Neuropsychology Society (HNS)
The HNS is a group of clinical and research neuropsychologists interested in promoting the competent practice of neuropsychology with Spanish-speaking populations.
International Neuropsychological Society (INS)
The INS is a multi-disciplinary non-profit organization dedicated to promoting research, service and education in neuropsychology, and to enhancing communication among the scientific disciplines which contribute to the understanding of brain-behavior relationships. Organizes annual conferences in USA and Europe.
Nederlandse Vereniging voor Neuropsychologie (NVN)
The website of the Dutch Neuropsychological Society. The site incorporates Research-on-line, a section which aims to keep researchers updated on neuroscience studies, in particular on neuropsychological topics, that have recently been completed in The Netherlands. This item is in English to facilitate exchange of information with our colleagues abroad.
