An International Journal

Impact Factor: 1.293 (Journal Citation Reports 2008, published by Thomson Scientific)

Aims & Scope

Neuropsychological Rehabilitation publishes human experimental and clinical research related to rehabilitation, recovery of function, and brain plasticity. The journal is aimed at clinicians who wish to inform their practice in the light of the latest scientific research; at researchers in neurorehabilitation; and finally at researchers in cognitive neuroscience and related fields interested in the mechanisms of recovery and rehabilitation. Papers on neuropsychological assessment will be considered, and special topic reviews (2500-5000 words) addressing specific key questions in rehabilitation, recovery and brain plasticity will also be welcomed. The latter will enter a fast-track refereeing process.

The Research Digest, edited by Jonathan J. Evans, Andrew Bateman, Gary Turner and Robin Green, is a regular feature in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation. The digest editors regularly scan a wide range of journals and other publications for material of particular interest to those working in rehabilitation. This section will be an invaluable resource providing both bibliographic references and informal comment and discussion.

Peer Review Integrity
All published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees.
